NEW AND RENEWAL APPLICANTS MUST OBTAIN A SALES TAX CLEARANCE LETTER FROM THE LIVINGSTON PARISH SCHOOL BOARD SALES/USE TAX DIVISION.

Step 2: Once registered with Sales Tax office and Sales Tax Clearance letter is obtained, fill out the  APPLICATION (fillable form online) and print out.

Step 3: Submit printed application and sales tax clearance letter in person to the City of Walker Permit Department, 13600 Aydell Lane

**Licenses will not be issued without the Sales Tax Clearance Letters from the

Livingston Parish Sales Tax Office

$50.00 if applied between January - July

$25.00 if applied July - December

RENEWALS 

Renewal fees are based on annual income from prior year

according the the tax table the business falls within.

APPLICATION/TAX TABLE 

 Each business will need to obtain a Sales Tax Clearance letter before the license is issued by contacting the Livingston Parish Sales Tax Office(225) 686-3043.
